Creating safe spaces to have fun while pushing the limits of body, mind, and soul.

The Ranch was founded by Rob Bradford, a lifelong skateboarder originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He’s been dreaming of providing a camp to kids so they could find that burning desire of their own to push their limits, and that dream is now real! His passion for skateboarding and bikes, his belief in youth, and his unrelenting pursuit of fun pushed his vision. He spent the last decade looking for the ultimate destination property to grow an environment where kids, pros, families, and enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy hanging out in the woods riding their favorite spots. His background includes both owning and operating skateparks as well as construction expertise crossing the spectrum of commercial and residential projects. He has three children--Sophie, Bailey, and Cayden--who are part of The Ranch family and excited to meet everyone this summer! Rob wants nothing more than to spread the joy of skating/riding and being yourself to the next generation.

Marcia Kimler joined Rob on his adventure when the dream was ready to launch and he needed a founding team to bring it to life. Marcia, a gymnast, grew up with a love of camp and married a professional BMX rider, Ron Kimler. After graduating from Radford University (nearby The Ranch!), she has spent her career helping camps and kids across the country. Her professional experience has included operating Woodward camps and active involvement with the American Camp Association. She’s passionate about volunteering with esteemed organizations like Green Camps, a national non-profit committed to sustainability, and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League, a state non-profit supporting kids on mountain bikes. Her MBA and various certifications show her commitment to The Ranch’s success for years to come. She and Ron have three children--Cedar, Greyson, and Kyus--who are ready to show everyone how fun The Ranch is this summer!

Rounding out the trio, Ron Kimler brings his BMX background to The Ranch along with 30 years of experience in the camp industry. From X Games appearances around the globe to sponsorships with industry leaders, Ron’s passion for sports and youth matches the rest of the team. He’s most known for his world-renowned action sports construction company, Live Wire, named after his former signature bike. He’s built some of the best parks across the U.S. and abroad. He and Rob have worked together on a few projects over the years and are stoked to be building the coolest stuff at The Ranch!
